The Hudson Valley Tenants Union (HVTU) is committed to protecting your privacy online. We collect phone numbers, emails, addresses, and an indication of consent to receive SMS texts in order to follow up with individuals about upcoming events and other updates. We keep the data until individuals ask to be removed from the list, which they can do by requesting a removal over email at hudsonvalleytenants@gmail.com or responding “STOP” to any text the HVTU sends.
Data is kept on a secure site with regulated access. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, provided that the foregoing does not apply to sharing (1) with vendors, consultants and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf (and who will not use such information for their own purposes); (2) if we believe disclosure is required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation or to comply with law enforcement or legal process.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
